How I save money and feed my children healthy....

A couple of things I do is buy bananas for $1.45 for 4 lbs @ Costco, I also buy a huge bowl of fresh cut fruit (pineapple, kiwi, papaya, strawberries, counteloupe, grapes...) @ Costco that lasts all week with feeding all of us atleast once a day (mostly twice). I also buy a big bag of Cutie oranges @ Costco that last a couple of weeks. We buy preservative free turkey for lunches @ preschool. I try to feed us fresh, preservative free foods...including veggie straws. Veggie straws give us the crunch of a potato chip, without the fat, calories and preservatives. Love them!!!

Costco is my best friend. I swear...I bought my daughter 2 precious dresses for $7 each a few weeks ago!

I also save us money by cutting my sons hair. I have cute my husband's twice, but he is going to get a real haircut soon (or so he says). I spent $29 on a clipper set and I have already saved more than that by cutting my son's hair...plus I can just do it whenever I need to do it, no special trips or waiting or dealing with my son who HATES haircuts. Seriously this child doesn't like to let go of anything!!!

I have to remind myself of the ways I help my family, b/c I stay home. I feel like I don't help as much as I could. My husband works SOOOO hard, seriously you can not imagine the hours he puts in. He sometimes bills 40 days in a month, does that tell you how many hours he has to put in to his work???? Somehow he manages to play with us and love us. I am SOOO thankful for a man who honors his wife and children. He works to provide and he is concerned about our future. He is authentic and caring and truly reflects God's love. He is a good man.
