He will not read just any book yet. Reading is still a challenge. He has built up confidence and can read from our lessons quite readily. He is not a performer, so he will not read for other people much...he starts acting silly and says the wrong words. Here is proof I have taught my son to read...and I am continuing to teach him. Considering what a challenge he was just a few months ago.
Honestly, I don't think this is truly anything new. He is the one who looked at PetSmart and asked why it is called Pet Smart...and we told him it was Pet's MArt and he said no look at the sign it is Pet Smart. There are other things he has read on moments where he let his guard down. This is just the way my child is...since birth. He didn't walk until he could do it with ease.
